achieving his goal; nothing on earth can help the man with
the wrong mental attitude.” --Thomas Jefferson

Do you think it's possible to conquer your fears?
It took me a long time to believe that I could overcome my feelings of shyness. I knew that my fears were unreasonable, but I kept telling myself, "That's just the way I am."
Ask yourself the following questions:
1. Do I believe that I'm capable of succeeding?
Answer this question in terms of your business and your commitment to conquering your shyness. Have you determined in your mind that you are going to succeed no matter what life tosses your way? Another way to answer this question might be to think about what it will take to stop you.
Is there anything that will prevent you from succeeding? If there is, do you feel that you’re truly committed to your success?
2. Do I feel like I deserve to be happy?
Most of us have heard the phrase “I never promised you a rose garden.” Still others of us have been haunted by the oh-so-inspiring message that “Life sucks, then you die.” You deserve to be happy. You deserve it. Sometimes it’s hard to make yourself believe that, but it’s true.
If you have trouble with this concept, add this affirmation to your list, and say it every day: It’s wonderful to live a life filled with joy and to know that I deserve it because of who I am.
3. Do I really think it's possible to change?
You may or may not have noticed that the results you see in your life and in your business come about because of the choices you make. Think back over your life. Do you now have all of the exact same opinions about every single topic that you had when you were 10, or 15, or 20? Have your experiences taught you that some of what you thought to be true was actually false? Or vice versa?
We change all the time. The challenge is to make sure we’re making choices in our lives that will help us to become who we want to be. So if you’re given an opportunity to meet someone, you have to choose whether you should use that chance to connect with someone or ignore that chance and stay the same as you’ve always been.
It’s about choice, and by exploring the information here at The Breakthrough Marketer, you’ve told yourself that you DO believe you can change.
4. Am I willing to work hard to achieve my goals?
There is no magic pill for conquering your limitations. There’s also no amazing formula that will make your business a billion dollar entity overnight. Achieving success, reaching your goals, and attaining new heights takes work. Sometimes it takes a lot of work. And no, it’s not easy. If you’re looking for a quick and easy method to do either of these things, you’re going to be disappointed.
Be sure you’re ready to do the work, because if you do your part, and you find the right mentors, you will succeed. There’s an incredible future ahead of you, enjoy the journey.
5. Do I understand that I have value to add to the world?
This is one of the most difficult ideas for many people to accept. You were put on the earth for a reason. You have something to bring to the world that you are uniquely qualified to do. Your combination of talents, knowledge, and abilities is solely yours, and it’s your responsibility to share it with the rest of the world.
How many people could you have helped if you had already been able to step outside of yourself and connect?
Today, look inside yourself and really see where you stand on the confidence scale. We all have the power to change, if we want it badly enough. We just need to take advantage of the tools available to us.
Really think through these questions and answer them as thoroughly as you can. No one else is going to see them (unless you show them to someone), so be as honest as you can.
